Clochán: a hand gesture-controlled Irish heritage experience for museums and visitor centres.
Clochán turns one LED Display wall into a whole visitor attraction. Visitors step through a Celtic portal into an interactive exhibition where they choose where to go with a wave of the hand.
Bring Brian Boru to life, explore the castle of Dunamase, charge a standing stone with the four elements, solve a rotating puzzle stone, control the sun at Newgrange, play a full-size Irish harp, lift Skellig Michael out of the Atlantic or paint light across a Celtic tapestry.
There is no touchscreen or headset, so it works for school groups, families and wheelchair users alike, and every scene runs on Solasine's own real-time engine, built by a team with a video game background.
New sites, artefacts and stories can be added each season without rebuilding the installation, which makes Clochán a single install that keeps giving museums and visitor centres a reason for repeat visits.
